Job summary

Motorola Solutions Ireland is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Cork R&D centre. You will enhance SCM/DevOps practices, automate processes, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in a multi-site development environment.

You will work with Git, Linux, Jenkins, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), Docker, and IaC, collaborating across teams to deliver robust software solutions. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE and 1+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on with containerization (Docker) and infrastructure as code (IAC).
• Familiar with version control (Git, Bitbucket) and build tools (Gradle, Maven).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement improvements to SCM/DevOps practices with emphasis on automation.
• Implement automation strategies, monitoring, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and release engineer responsibilities across multi-site development environments.
• Collaborate across teams in a global setting and drive automation initiatives.
