Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP in Dublin is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Monitoring, Management and Automation team. You will develop, deploy and support systems that monitor and manage network devices, servers and applications.

You will also work on modernising deployment processes, improving monitoring/alerting capabilities, and migrating services towards an infrastructure-as-code model. Collaboration with global engineering teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering/math.
• Experience with Nagios or similar enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and other monitoring tools.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying apps in Kubernetes using Helm.
• Strong automation and configuration management with Ansible.
• Scripting or development experience, preferably Python.
• Git-based development and deployment workflows.
• Linux systems administration in a medium to large enterprise.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code and automated migrations.

Overview

Susquehanna is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Monitoring, Management andAutomation team in our Dublin office. This team is responsible for developing and supporting our enterprise-wide system and softwaremanagement tools.

In this role, you will:

• You will be responsible for developing, deploying and supporting systems that monitor and managenetwork devices, servers and applications.
• You will also work on projects to modernise ourdeployment processes.
• Improve our monitoring and alerting capabilities
• Migrate existing service towards an infrastructure as code model.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline, orequivalent professional experience
• Experience developing, administering and supporting Nagios or similar enterprise monitoringplatforms
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana & other monitoring tools beneficial
• Experience designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes using Helm
• Strong automation and configuration management experience using Ansible
• Scripting or software development experience, preferably with Python
• Experience working with Git-based development and deployment workflows
• Experience with Linux systems administration in a medium to large enterprise environment
• An understanding of infrastructure as code principles and experience migrating manually
• managed infrastructure and services towards an automated, version-controlled model
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to support production systems in a reliable andrepeatable manner
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with globalised engineering andoperational teams
