Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP seeks a DevOps Engineer to join our Dublin office within the Monitoring, Management and Automation team. You will develop, deploy and support systems that monitor and manage network devices, servers and applications.

You will drive modernization of deployment processes, improve monitoring and alerting, and migrate services toward infrastructure as code, collaborating with global teams to ensure reliable production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with Nagios or similar monitoring platforms.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and other monitoring tools.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes using Helm.
• Strong automation and configuration management with Ansible.
• Scripting or software development experience, preferably Python.
• Experience with Git-based development and deployment workflows.
• Experience with Linux system administration in a large enterprise.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code principles and migration to automated, version-controlled models.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to support production systems reliably.
• Good communication and ability to work with global engineering teams.

In this role, you will:

• You will be responsible for developing, deploying and supporting systems that monitor and managenetwork devices, servers and applications.
• You will also work on projects to modernise ourdeployment processes.
• Improve our monitoring and alerting capabilities
• Migrate existing service towards an infrastructure as code model.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline, orequivalent professional experience
• Experience developing, administering and supporting Nagios or similar enterprise monitoringplatforms
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana & other monitoring tools beneficial
• Experience designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes using Helm
• Strong automation and configuration management experience using Ansible
• Scripting or software development experience, preferably with Python
• Experience working with Git-based development and deployment workflows
• Experience with Linux systems administration in a medium to large enterprise environment
• An understanding of infrastructure as code principles and experience migrating manually
• managed infrastructure and services towards an automated, version-controlled model
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to support production systems in a reliable andrepeatable manner
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with globalised engineering andoperational teams
