Job summary

Thrive IT Systems in Belfast, UK, is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a permanent remote role. You will design, deploy and manage containerized infrastructure to support application lifecycle and business needs.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, implementing IaC with Terraform, and automating with Ansible, Docker and Shell Scripting to optimize CI/CD pipelines and reliability. 5–7 years’ DevOps experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of DevOps experience designing and deploying containerized infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Ansible, and shell scripting.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Seeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in DevOpsCICD to design automate and manage containerized infrastructure using Ansible Docker Terraform Shell Scripting and Kubernetes

Job Description

Design deploy and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters to support application lifecycle and business requirements Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for consistent environment provisioning Create and optimize automation scripts with Ansible and Shell Scripting to streamline configuration management and operational tasks Manage container environments using Docker to ensure efficient application packaging and deployment Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and enhance CICD pipelines ensuring seamless application delivery Monitor infrastructure and cluster performance resource utilization and availability to ensure high reliability and scalability Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration infrastructure automation and deployment processes Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in Kubernetes automation and DevOps methodologies Utilize Python scripting skills to enhance automation and operational efficiency where applicable
