Job summary

Merchants Quay Ireland operates a Drug-Free Detox & Rehabilitation Centre at St. Francis Farm. We seek a Staff Nurse to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care from admission through discharge, ensuring a detox service runs smoothly in a supportive, drug-free environment.

The role requires NMBI registration, 1 year post-qualification experience ( detox an advantage ), strong IT and CRM reporting skills, and a collaborative team approach within MQI's multidisciplinary services.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMBI and current registration.
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience; detox setting is advantageous.
• Good IT skills and ability to use CRM for reporting.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties for admissions and monitor medical detox per policy.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Administer medications and manage medical supplies per guidelines.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers.
• Maintain accurate records and complete reports to ensure smooth unit operation.
