In association with our client Cpl Healthcare are seeking to recruit an experienced manager for an Assistant Person in Charge role, in Carrick On Suir, Tipperary.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management for the nursing home, supporting the Person in Charge in delivering high-quality care to residents.
  • Coordinate clinical and operational activities to ensure safe, effective and compassionate care.
  • Lead, motivate and develop an multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and robust governance in line with sector standards.
Qualifications
  • Third Level Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered with An Bord Altranais and hold an active PIN.
  • Current and valid Infection Control, Manual and Resident Moving & Handling, Medication Management, Dementia, CPR, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults Certificates (training can be provided if required).
  • Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is essential.
  • Post-registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is desirable.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 6 years’ post-registration nursing experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a Nursing Home environment.
  • Minimum 2 year work experience in a management position.
  • Experience in leading, motivating and supporting an effective and efficient team.
  • Proven clinical competence and passion for delivering outstanding care to older people.
