Responsibilities

• Interact with project teams by phone and email to determine upcoming requirements.
• Manage the yard team to load and prep machinery and accommodations for stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager on all activities.
• Coordinate with logistics, accounts and the workshop to meet customer needs and asset availability.
• Develop product knowledge of the fleet and stay updated with market changes.
• Work with in-house systems for maintenance, asset management and quality assurance.
• Oversee health, safety and environmental compliance across yard operations.
• Complete toolbox talks.

Murphy is recruiting for a Depot Manager to work with our Plant team in Newbridge.

Role Purpose:

We are looking to recruit a Plant Depot Manager for our Plant team based in Newbridge.

Key responsibilities:

• Interact with Company Projects Teams on the phone and on email, regarding upcoming project requirements.
• Managing the yard team to load and prep machinery / accommodation to all stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager on all activities.
• Effectively interact with other departments including logistics, accounts and the workshop to ensure that customers' needs are fulfilled, and our own assets are available to fulfil project needs.
• Continuously developing product knowledge of our fleet whilst keeping up to date with changes and advancements in the market.
• Working on in-house systems for maintenance / asset management / quality assurance.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across all yard operations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Complete toolbox talks.

Required/Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in Plant and Machinery is essential.
• Proven track record of managing a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
