Job summary

3Q Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Home Care Coordinator in Ennis, Co. Clare, for a permanent part-time role (30 hours per week, Mon–Fri). You will lead a team of Care Workers, coordinate rotas, support recruitment and training, assess clients, and develop person-centred care plans to ensure high-quality dementia care at home.

The role offers exposure to service coordination, leadership development, and collaboration with families and healthcare professionals within the community.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience within health/social care or the voluntary sector.
• Experience in caring environments, dementia, older people or complex needs.
• Experience coordinating a service or managing people.
• Knowledge of dementia care and older-person services.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with working within budget and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team of care workers.
• Coordinate staff rotas based on client needs.
• Assist recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
• Assess clients and determine care requirements.
• Develop and maintain person-centred care plans.
• Review client needs and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with families, carers, and health professionals.
• Manage waiting lists and identify gaps in care.
• Maintain accurate service and employee records.
• Support quality standards, risk management and safety.
• Monitor service activity, resources and budgets.
