Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation in Dublin, Ireland, seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to support Automation Information Systems (AIS) and manufacturing controls. You will work on DeltaV DCS projects, troubleshoot PLC-based systems, and ensure compliance with cGMP/GAMP standards in a Life Sciences environment.

The role involves coordinating with front-office and remote engineering teams, leading project resources, and contributing to New Product Introduction milestones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation or equivalent.
4+ years DeltaV experience, preferably in life sciences.
Experience designing and programming control systems with emphasis on DeltaV DCS.
S88 batch process control within (Bio)Pharma sector.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time front-line support to AIS in accordance with GAMP standards.
Maintain automated systems with preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot control system software and hardware issues.
Lead teams of Engineers and manage project resources and scheduling.
Interact with customers and coordinate with vendors and remote teams.
