Wove Group is a strategic design consultancy working at the intersection of strategy, design and technology for social innovation. Formerly Aad, we’ve been helping clients build a future Ireland that works better for people and planet for over 20 years.
Our work spans four connected practices: Labs, Strategy, Brand and Digital. Our clients come from the civic, culture and education sectors, including RTÉ, Central Bank, the Arts Council, The Abbey Theatre, Circular.ie, DCU and more.
We’re a team of strategists, designers and technologists based in Dublin and connected to a wider network of creative practitioners. We’ve been B Corp certified since 2023, reporting across governance, workers, community, environment and customers.
About the role
We’re looking for a Delivery Manager to take over day-to-day delivery across our digital practice. You’ll work closely with the Digital Director, picking up live projects quickly and running them independently.
The role is hands-on. Alongside planning and client management, you’ll fix small issues yourself, such as typos, content updates, usability tweaks, SEO changes and simple reports, using AI coding tools like Claude Code. Developer experience isn’t required. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a codebase with AI support and to know when something needs a developer.
You’ll also lead the team’s move to a more structured, cycle-based way of working, blending Shape Up and agile sprints.
What you’ll do
Planning and team
- Set up projects in Float with phases, budgets, tasks and timelines
- Translate client requirements into scopes of work and assign them to the team
- Draft scopes of work and change requests for the Digital Director’s review and approval
- Prepare and run the weekly digital team meeting: review line items, discuss solutions, assign tasks and follow up on actions
- Track budget and time against estimates in Float, and flag overruns early
- Brief external contractors on scope and timelines
- Make day-to-day delivery decisions independently, within agreed limits
Clients and delivery
- Act as primary contact for clients on delivery, status and queries
- Handle first response on all client queries, escalating only what needs the Digital Director’s input
- Hold scope discipline, flag creep and manage change requests
- Organise calls with developers on urgent issues and relay outcomes to clients
- Coordinate content uploads and chase outstanding client content
- Send a short weekly status summary across all projects to the Digital Director
- Report bottlenecks to the Digital Director and flag risks before they become issues
Testing and launch
- Plan and run internal QA, covering functionality, devices, accessibility and usability, or assign it to the team
- Write client UAT scripts and make sure clients complete them before launch
- Own client snagging lists through to sign-off: log, triage, assign and update
- Triage bugs and improvements, and liaise with developers on ongoing issues
- Own launch checklists and coordinate go-live
Hands‑on technical work, using AI coding tools such as Claude Code
- Fix minor issues directly, including typos, content and usability fixes
- Pull reports and answer client queries without waiting on a developer
- Add SERP fields to client CMSs
- Create SEO redirect maps and implement them
- Implement Lighthouse improvements, or assign them to a developer where needed
- Prepare monthly security, uptime and performance reports where needed
Ways of working
- Lead the adoption of a Shape Up and agile sprint blend across the team, and refine it as it beds in
- Build and maintain templates for QA, UAT scripts, snagging, scoping and redirect mapping
- Run short project retrospectives and feed lessons into the process
What we’re looking for
- 3 to 5 years in project or delivery management at a digital agency or studio delivering websites
- Hands‑on experience of website delivery: CMS, QA, UAT, snagging and go‑live
- Uses AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor or similar) to make small changes directly, or can show they learn tools like this quickly
- Enough technical understanding to triage bugs and talk to developers in their terms
- Experience leading a team through a change in ways of working, such as introducing a new process or delivery model
- Picks things up quickly and works independently from a short brief
- Confident holding boundaries with clients under pressure
- Experience with Float, Linear, Jira, GitHub Projects or similar
Nice to have
- Experience with Shape Up specifically
