Celtic Interiors is a fast-growing, high-end bespoke furniture company based in Cork. We are seeking a reliable, practical individual to join our team as a workshop and delivery assistant.

The role focuses on delivering bespoke furniture to clients’ homes and supporting general workshop duties, with opportunities to learn and grow in a busy, high-quality workshop environment. You will work closely with an experienced team, loading and unloading furniture, assisting with spray finishing

Qualifications

• Proactive customer service and teamwork skills.
• Full driving licence (B) is essential.
• Experience in workshop or carpentry environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Delivering fitted furniture to clients’ homes safely.
• Assist installation team on site when required.
• Load/unload and handle furniture with care.
• Support general workshop duties and stock organisation.
• Assist with spray-finishing preparation and finishing steps.
• Maintain clean, safe workshop and work areas.
• Assist with assembly of cabinetry and units as needed.

Job Description

Celtic Interiors is a fast-growing, high-end bespoke furniture company specialising in luxury kitchen design and custom-built interiors. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a reliable, motivated and practical individual to join our team. The role is primarily focused on delivering bespoke furniture to clients’ homes, while also assisting with a variety of general workshop duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work and is keen to develop new skills within a busy, high-quality workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering fitted furniture and bespoke cabinetry safely to clients’ homes, ready for installation
• Assisting the installation team on site when required
• Loading, unloading and handling furniture with care
• Assisting with general workshop duties
• Supporting the spray booth and spray-finishing process
• Sanding and preparing components for finishing
• Cleaning and maintaining workshop and work areas
• Assisting with stock control and keeping materials organised
• Operating workshop machinery as required, following appropriate training and safety procedures
• Assisting with the assembly of bespoke cabinetry and fitted units when required
• Carrying out other general duties to support the smooth running of the workshop

Requirements

• Full, clean driving licence – essential
• Previous experience in a workshop, construction, carpentry or woodworking environment is advantageous but not essential
• Painting or spray-finishing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and handling furniture
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• A good eye for detail and pride in the quality of your work
