Delivery Driver and Furniture & Bedding Assembler

Harvey Norman Ireland is a growing, high-profile retail brand with over 300 stores worldwide, including 16 stores in Ireland. This role involves delivering and assembling products in customers’ homes and providing excellent customer service in a white-glove in-home delivery/assembly operation. Training will be provided.

Your Tasks Will Include

• Delivery and assembly of furniture & bedding products in customers’ homes.
• Ensuring all products are loaded and wrapped safely to protect against damages.
• POD Management.
• Be an ambassador for the Harvey Norman brand and Assembly/Delivery service.
• Adherence to the company’s policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Ensuring your vehicle is kept maintained and any faults or defects are reported immediately upon inspection.

Your Profile Your Knowledge, Skills And Experience Include

• Must hold a clean drivers license category B.
• Experience with assembling Furniture & Bedding.
• Experience with hardware tools such as screwdrivers, staple guns, drills etc.
• Good communication & ability to work as a team.
• Well-organized and adept at problem-solving.
• Flexible and willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers expectations are exceeded.

Additional Information

• This is a permanent contract subject to a 6 month probationary period.
• We need employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings and weekends.
• The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
