YUS Partners (Yourutmostsap Partners) is an SAP consultancy based in Ireland, serving clients across the island of Ireland and Europe. We deliver SAP S/4HANA projects with a focus on logistics and supply chain (EWM, WM, TM) alongside core finance and sales processes, and we build a local bench of SAP consultants through direct hiring and
partnerships. The company is in a growth phase: an expanding Irish client pipeline, upcoming regulatory work (Irish e-invoicing mandate), and a deliberate strategy of developing local SAP talent. To scale beyond founder-led delivery, YUS is creating its first Delivery Director position in Ireland.
Purpose ofthe role
The Delivery Director owns the quality, profitability and client satisfaction of all YUS engagements in Ireland. They turn signed deals into staffed, well-run projects: planning assignments, supervising consultants on site and remotely, keeping clients confident, and escalating early when a project drifts. They are also the senior face of YUS delivery in
Ireland — the person a client CIO or programme manager calls first. The role reports to the Managing Director and is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
Key responsibilities
Delivery oversight
Own the delivery plan of every active engagement: scope, staffing, milestones, budget and margin.
Run weekly delivery reviews; track risks and actions, and escalate to the Managing Director before a client does.
Set and enforce YUS delivery standards (documentation, cutover readiness, testing discipline, handover quality).
Client relationships
Act as delivery sponsor for each account: steering committees, escalations, satisfaction reviews.
Identify extension and cross-sell opportunities on live accounts and pass them to the commercial lead.
Protect the relationship during difficult phases (go-live, defects, scope disputes) with a calm, factual stance.
Team and consultants
Manage YUS consultants in Ireland: assignment planning, objectives, performance reviews, coaching.
Mentor junior consultants and organise knowledge transfer from senior profiles (SAP EWM, logistics, finance).
Keep utilisation and bench time visible; anticipate staffing gaps at least one quarter ahead.
Recruitment and permit compliance
Drive the Irish recruitment pipeline with the directors: sourcing, interviews, offers.
Ensure hiring plans respect Irish employment-permit rules, including the 50:50
EEA/non-EEA workforce rule that conditions new work permits.
Build relationships with Irish universities, SAP user groups and local partners to grow the talent pool.
Commercial support
Review estimates, staffing plans and delivery assumptions in proposals before they are sent.
Contribute delivery credentials and references to bids; join key pre-sales meetings as the delivery authority.
Profile sought
Must have
10+ years in SAP consulting, including 3+ years managing delivery (project director, engagement manager or practice lead).
Hands-on credibility on at least one SAP functional domain — logistics / EWM / supply chain is a strong plus.
Track record of running several concurrent projects with external clients, including at least one full S/4HANA implementation or migration.
People management experience: hiring, appraising and developing consultants.
Fluent English; comfortable at CIO / programme-director level.
Right to work in Ireland, or eligibility for an Irish employment permit.
Nice to have
Existing network in the Irish SAP market (clients, partners, user groups).
Familiarity with Irish employment-permit rules and local hiring practice.
French (part of the client and partner base is francophone).
Experience in a small or founder-led consultancy, where the director still rolls up their sleeves.
What YUS offers
A senior leadership role with real autonomy: you shape how YUS delivers, hires and
grows in Ireland.
Direct access to the directors and to strategic decisions; no layers between you and
the client or the company.
Competitive cash package: base salary €120,000–140,000 depending on profile,
pension contribution, and an annual performance incentive tied to delivery margin,
utilisation and client satisfaction.
Growth shares: equity participation in YUS through an Irish growth-share scheme —
shares in the value created above today's baseline, vesting over time and tied to the
growth of the Irish practice. Terms set at offer stage.
Growth path: the role is designed to evolve into country leadership as the Irish practice
