Job summary

Inver Energy Ltd in Charleville is recruiting a Deli Manager to lead the Deli team, ensure high quality hot and cold products, and uphold HACCP and food safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

The role covers supervising cooking, serving, packaging and counter operations, managing stock, waste, labeling, inventory and budgets, and training staff on company policies and sales guidelines. Flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Deli operations and customer service.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Ability to manage staff and maintain inventory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HACCP and food safety standards are met and documentation is up to date.
• Handle stock and waste control of Deli products.
• Bring forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department.
• Manage day-to-day Deli operations and employees to improve sales performance.
• Supervise cooking, serving, packaging, and counter duties.
• Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation to prevent spoilage.
• Ensure products are labelled with prices and dates.
• Address customer queries to high standards.
• Foster good customer service and teamwork in the Deli area.
• Complete back-office administrative duties as required.
• Assist in inventory and sales budget preparation.
• Provide training to staff on company policies and sales guidelines.

Amber Petroleum Ltd are currently recruiting for a Deli Supervisor in Charleville

The successful candidate must be full flexible, able to work various shifts including early mornings and evenings.

The Deli Supervisor will be responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold Deli products while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to date
• Handling stock and waste control of the Deli products
• Bringing forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department
• Managing the day to day management of the Deli operations and the employees to improve sales performance
• Supervising employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters
• Managing product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilage
• Ensuring that products are properly labelled with prices and dates
• Dealing with customer queries to the highest possible standards
• Encouraging an atmosphere of good Customer Service and team work within the Deli area
• Completing any back office administrative duties as required
