Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a reliable Deli Assistant at our Galway counter. You will deliver friendly service, prepare and serve deli items, and keep the counter clean and well-stocked.

You will handle till payments, maintain high food hygiene standards, rotate stock, and support busy periods with colleagues. The role requires good communication and a customer-focused attitude, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer-facing retail or food service role (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to operate a till and handle cash accurately

Responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders and preparing deli products to specification
• Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards in accordance with relevant regulations; rotate stock and keep counter clean
• Operate the till, process payments, and handle cash; assist with stock taking and communicate with team to ensure smooth operations
