Job summary

Centra in Mallow is seeking a Deli Assistant to prepare high-quality hot and cold deli products and ensure customer satisfaction. You will support across fresh food areas, including sandwiches, hot foods, and sliced meats, maintaining display standards and providing recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting, with a passion for quality food.

Qualifications

• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas (sandwiches, rolls, hot food, sliced meats)
• Cook, prepare and display foods sold through the day
• Maintain highest standards of counter displays across fresh food departments
• Share knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers
• Deal with customer queries efficiently and professionally in line with store policy

• Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.
