Job summary

Centra Rathangan in Ireland is seeking a friendly deli assistant to prepare high quality hot and cold deli products and to ensure customer satisfaction remains the number one priority. You will assemble sandwiches and rolls, dish up hot foods, slice meats, and maintain pristine counter displays while delivering friendly service and sharing knowledge with customers.

HACCP training is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary.
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi task under pressure and meet standards.

• Prepare customer orders across fresh food areas: sandwiches, rolls, hot food, and sliced meats.
• Cook, prepare and display foods sold throughout the day.
• Ensure counter displays across all fresh food departments are of the highest standard.
• Share knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers.
• Deal with customer queries efficiently and in line with store policy.

• Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day
• Ensure that the counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards at all times throughout the day
• Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.
