Job summary

Centra is seeking a Deli Assistant to prepare high-quality hot and cold deli products and ensure customer satisfaction as a top priority. The role is full time in Annacotty, with a closing date for applications on 29-10-2026.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, prior customer service experience, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking under pressure. HACCP training is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas i.e. make sandwiches and rolls, dish up hot food and slice meats using store's portion control measures.
• Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day.
• Ensure counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards at all times.
• Demonstrate passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and recommendations with customers.
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently and professionally in line with store policy.
