Job summary

Coca-Cola Ireland is seeking an Energy & Sustainability Manager to lead the site’s sustainability and environmental strategy in partnership with plant leadership. You will drive measurable improvements by setting priorities, applying technical expertise, and implementing high-impact initiatives aligned with Coca-Cola’s sustainability vision.

You will oversee ISO/ AWS aligned programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and embed sustainability into operational decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering/Management Sustainability
• 7+ years in Environment/sustainability experience
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written
• Results-driven, proactive and resilient
• Comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced industrial environments
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
• Project management knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Environmental Management System to ISO 14001 / 50001 / AWS standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute the annual sustainability program with plant leadership.
• Deliver energy and sustainability strategies across site operations and monitor energy/water/waste/GHG metrics.
• Identify initiatives to reduce energy usage, improve efficiency and cut costs.
• Lead energy audits, metering, monitoring, and data analytics initiatives.
• Provide guidance on decarbonization including renewable energy adoption and scope 3 reductions.
