Job summary

Darwin Hawkins is seeking a Debt Advisory & Capital Solutions Director in Dublin (hybrid). The role leads a growing advisory team, advising corporates and private equity on debt raising, refinancing and restructuring.

Qualifications

• Experience within bank, non-bank lender or debt advisory environment.
• Strong track record of originating and executing debt transactions.
• Experience across debt structuring, credit analysis and financial modelling.
• Strong understanding of transaction terms and financing documentation.
• Experience managing and developing junior team members.
• Commercial mindset with an interest in business development and building market relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead debt advisory mandates from initial engagement through to completion.
• Advise on debt raising, refinancing, restructuring and financing strategy for corporate and PE clients.
• Assess funding options and develop debt structures based on client requirements.
• Lead financial modelling, credit analysis and scenario analysis to support financing recommendations.
• Manage transaction processes, lender engagement, presentations and senior client communications.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support clients through term sheets and transaction documentation.
• Identify opportunities, support deal origination and contribute to the growth of the Debt Advisory practice.
• Develop strong relationships with lenders, investors, PE firms and other market participants.
