Job summary

Muiríosa Foundation invites applications for the CNM1 / Social Care Manager 1 position at Offaly Day Services. The role drives forward the organisation's vision, supporting individuals to be active citizens and promoting self-determination, while overseeing day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate management experience in services for people with intellectual disability, ability to lead staff teams and strong communication with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be highly motivated with a proven record of leading, supporting and managing staff teams.
• Knowledge and experience of implementing new directions.
• Experience of working with people with a range of support needs including behaviours of concern.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Day Services within remit.
• Communicate effectively with individuals supported, families and professionals.
• Support, supervise and motivate staff; balance multiple priorities and work on own initiative.
