Job summary
TechShack is seeking a Databricks Engineer for a greenfield data platform transformation in the construction sector. This 6-month contract covers Ireland/UK and involves close collaboration with the CTO/architect to shape the solution.
You will design and deliver a Databricks-based data platform, working across data engineering, platform development and implementation, with emphasis on Azure cloud capabilities and Databricks expertise.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks.
- Databricks certification is highly desirable/required.
- Strong data engineering/data platform background.
- Experience delivering greenfield data platform solutions.
- Previous experience in construction or property development (or similar) is essential.
- Strong Azure/cloud data platform experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a new Databricks-based data platform.

My client is currently looking for a Databricks Engineer to join a major greenfield data platform transformation for their construction client.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity, working alongside their CTO/architect who will be leading the overall product and design (however, as you will be working so close you will get a say too!)
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering a new Databricks-based data platform, working across data engineering, platform development and implementation.
- Strong commercial experience with Databricks
- Databricks certification is highly desirable/required
- Strong data engineering/data platform background
- Experience delivering greenfield data platform solutions
- Previous experience working within construction or property development (or similar is essential)
