Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a quantitative field (Statistics, Maths, CS, Data Science, Physics, Engineering).
• Strong foundation in statistics and experimental design; proficient in Python and ML libraries.
• Experience building and evaluating ML models for high-volume data.
• Proficient in PyTorch; GPU/CUDA experience is a plus.
• Fluent communication skills; able to explain complex results to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build statistical and ML models to detect and prevent financial crime and fraud.
• Handle full data science lifecycle: exploration, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring.
• Develop deep learning solutions using PyTorch with GPU acceleration.
• Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for risk, compliance, and product teams.
• Collaborate with a global team across regions and time zones.
• Ensure models are robust, explainable and compliant with regulations.
• Maintain code quality and reproducibility of experiments across the data science team.
