You will work closely with business stakeholders, translating requirements into robust, scalable data solutions while exploring AI/LLMs to enhance data engineering and decision-making across the organisation.

I’m looking for a Data Engineer to join a major digital transformation programme, working on modern data solutions with AI and LLM technology becoming an increasingly important part of the environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building new data capabilities rather than BAU/support.

Key requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Databricks
• Strong SQL and Python
• dbt experience is beneficial but not essential
• Retail, e-commerce or consumer digital experience would be highly desirable
• Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions
• An interest in AI/LLMs and how they can be applied within modern data engineering
