Job summary

ICTS Ireland Limited is seeking reliable Data Centre Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of premises and people across our Dublin sites. You’ll work 12-hour shifts as part of a dedicated Data Centre team, covering holidays and leave to keep operations running smoothly.

The role involves access control, patrolling, ID checks, alarm activation, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting and safety duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Private Security Authority (PSA) Licence is required.
• Valid Safe Pass certification required.
• Full-time availability for all shifts (days, nights, weekends).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Demonstrated professionalism and integrity.
• Five years’ checkable history and references.
• Must pass a criminal records check (CRC) to required standards.

Responsibilities

• Managing access control for buildings, car parks, employees, visitors and contractors.
• Patrolling buildings, car parks and grounds to deter and detect problems.
• Checking and challenging IDs with a professional approach.
• Activating/deactivating alarms and securing buildings and gates.
• Monitoring fire, security and building systems including CCTV.
• Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary.
• Responding to customer requests and queries.
• Maintaining incident records using computer and paper systems.

Job description

ICTS are looking for reliable and technology savvy Data Centre Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of premises and people amongst their sites.

You’ll be required to work 12 hour shifts, and be part of a Data Centre team that will support the ongoing operation to cover holiday and leave.

An experienced Security Officer, you will carry out a range of duties in a modern and fast paced environment, including:

• Managing access control for buildings and car-parks - for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Patrolling the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems.
• Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.
• De-activating and activating alarms, and unlocking and locking buildings, rooms, external barriers and gates to ensure that no unauthorised personnel or hazards are on site.
• Fire, security and building systems monitoring, including CCTV.
• Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary.
• Responding to customer requests and queries
• Maintaining records including incident reports using computer- and paper-based systems

The following would also be useful, but are not essential:

• Manual Handling
• First Aid qualification
• Experience in a similar role
