Job summary

Securitas Ireland is seeking a Data Centre Security Officer in Clonee. You will provide twenty-four seven security services including patrols, access control, and reception duties to protect people and property while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff.

Role requires flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends with a focus on safety, compliance, and professional standards. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Responsibilities

Perform security patrols and reception duties including access control, CCTV, door alarms and event monitoring.
Patrol property to secure premises and personnel; monitor surveillance and inspect access points.
Prepare reports and handle site patrol duties.
Manage lost and found items and other security tasks as needed.
Immediately report all security and health and safety threats encountered during patrols.
Ensure compliance with site operating procedures and post orders and assist with access control badges.

Job Description

The Security Officer provides security patrols and services to the site on twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week basis. To maintain order and facilitate the protection of all site personnel, client property, premises and equipment.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Perform a variety of routine and non-routine security and receptionist duties associated with access control, CCTV, door alarm and event monitoring using established policies and procedures. Maintain civil order, especially during facility emergency conditions.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Report writing and site patrol duties.
Lost and found duties and other back security duties, as required or specified from time to time.
To immediately report all security and health and safety threats identified during all patrols.
To ensure a detailed knowledge and understanding of all summary Post Orders and Site Operating Procedures.
Patrol and respond to incidents around the site.
Compliance of all relevant company policies and procedures.
Provides support and coverage for access control badges and individual authorized access in accordance with policy.
Key issuance/control.
Assist with daily MOP's (Method of Procedure) and coordinating with supervised escorts.
Insure visitor, employee, contractor and vendor access compliance.
Access control duties, to include static and or standing post as directed.
Uniformed security personnel as per global standards.

Qualifications

Relevant security background experience, licensing and certificates as applicable according to the local legislation.
Excellent communication skills, with a courteous and professional manner.
Exceptional reception and customer service skills.
Fully flexible
Familiarity and knowledge of MS Office products.
Excellent observational skills Experience communicating via two-way radio.
Must have a clean driving history with no "at fault" accidents within the last five (5) years
Strong multi-tasking abilities.
PSA Licence
Must be available to work a fully flexible roster - days, nights and weekends
Full clean EU drivers license
