Job summary

Securitas in Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to help protect people, property, and peace of mind at a Dublin site. The role involves access control, patrols, alarms response, and professional customer service.

Strong observation and communication skills are essential. Applicants should be fluent in English, adaptable to a variety of shifts including nights and weekends, and comfortable with PC-based reporting.

Qualifications

• PSA Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to client premises, ensuring only authorised personnel are admitted.
• Carry out regular patrols and inspections to deter and detect suspicious activity.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies, acting decisively and calmly.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
• Write clear, accurate incident reports and maintain security logs.
• Operate security systems and surveillance equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and protocols.

Fully Flexible, Monday to Sunday, minimum 36 hours per week

€17.65 per hour plus €20.00 night allowance and Sunday premium (€16.15 per hour +€1.50 per hour site premium)
