Job summary

STS Group is looking for an experienced Permit Coordinator to join our data centre project in Frankfurt. This site-based role coordinates the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure safe and controlled execution of electrical, mechanical and construction activities.

Working with the construction, engineering and HSE teams, the role requires reviewing RAMS, maintaining a live permit register, and coordinating with site managers and subcontractors to keep works compliant and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience as Permit Coordinator or similar in large-scale projects.
• Experience with data centres, construction or high-risk environments.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work and Safe Systems of Work.
• Experience reviewing RAMS, risk assessments and method statements.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with multiple contractors and teams.
• Proficient IT skills, especially MS Office.
• Qualification in construction, engineering or health & safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the Permit to Work (PTW) system across the project.
• Review permit applications and ensure necessary documentation and controls are in place.
• Coordinate permits for electrical, mechanical and construction activities.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, HSE teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure works follow RAMS, risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain an accurate permit register and monitor active permits on site.
• Attend daily coordination meetings and support upcoming works.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure procedures are followed.
