Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Health & Safety Manager (Data Centre) to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a large Data Centre project in North West Dublin. You will report to the EHS Lead and ensure safe project delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating method statements, risk assessments, permits and safety interventions; conducting site audits, COSHH assessments and hazardous substance control; overseeing staff induction and subcontractor compliance; and managing

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage task-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments, permits, and safety interventions.
• Maintain good safety practices through regular site audits, COSHH assessments, and hazardous substance control.
• Oversee staff induction, training, and ensure subcontractors adhere to EHS policies.
• Manage project PPE, welfare, and hygiene facilities, ensuring they meet requirements.
• Assist with accident investigations and keep the Safety File documentation up to date.
• Participate in daily briefings and maintain waste reduction and recycling programs according to project policies.
