Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Project Director to join their Commercial Leadership Team in Ireland. This senior role is responsible for leading commercial strategy and managing large-scale Data Centre construction projects across Europe.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience, demonstrating deep expertise in cost management and commercial governance. Turner & Townsend offers an international working environment and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience in commercial management/quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement practices.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects, preferably data centre projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead, as well as work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the estimating hub, including workflow and delivery strategy.
• Act as a trusted commercial advisor to clients at programme and portfolio level.
• Lead development and management of cost plans.
• Develop, manage and control project and programme budgets.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors and supply chain partners.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Economics or a related field
