Job summary

CLEAR STRATEGY LIMITED is seeking a Data & AI Engineer in Dublin, hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). You will design ETL pipelines, deliver Data Warehousing and BI projects, and collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data solutions.

The role emphasises awareness of AI/LLMs and opportunities to integrate AI into data-driven solutions, with a path to contribute across varied projects in a fast-growing data company.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in Cloud BI and analytics; understanding of data platforms.
• Experience with data ingestion, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiar with SQL, ETL tools and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric preferred.

About the RoleAs a full-time Data & AI Engineer at Clear Strategy, your role will involve designing and implementing ETL solutions tailored to client needs. You will develop and deliver Data Warehousing and BI projects, working closely with client stakeholders to understand and translate their business requirements into effective technical solutions. Additionally, you’ll stay informed on market advancements, including AI and large language models (LLMs), to continuously enhance your expertise and contributions. You will also explore opportunities to integrate AI where it adds value to data-driven solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• 1-3 years Cloud BI and Analytics principles experience, with exposure to tools and technologies for analysing, designing, testing, and managing data platforms.
• Experience or coursework in data ingestion technologies, data warehouse concepts (ETL, OLAP, Dimensional Modelling, Star/Snowflake Schemas), and relational databases like SQL Server, Snowflake, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with SQL, ETL tools, and cloud platforms(Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Awareness of AI and machine learning concepts, with exposure to applying AI techniques to data projects or understanding their potential impact.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Awareness of how data models affect visualisation and an interest in developing dashboards to present insights to technical and business teams.
• Exposure to project lifecycles through coursework, internships, or personal projects (e.g., data conversion, testing strategies, or building end-to-end solutions).
• A desire to work in a client-facing role or previous internship experience in consulting.
• Degree in Data Science, Analytics, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science preferred.

Salary: €36,605 - €37,500 per annumHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
