Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Dairy Farm Manager for a grass-based spring calving operation in County Limerick, Ireland. You will take responsibility for day-to-day farming, lead a small team and report to management while having autonomy to drive standards.

The role offers €50,000 plus accommodation, a seasonal pattern with spring calving demands and opportunities for development through exposure to wider dairy operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in spring-calving or grass-based dairy systems.
• Strong stockmanship with herd health, welfare and milk quality knowledge.
• Eligibility to work in the UK or Ireland (visa/rights).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dairy herd and farm operations.
• Milk the herd twice daily with high milk quality and welfare.
• Oversee calving, calf rearing and breeding activities.
• Grazing management including grass measurement and allocation.
• Maintain farm records and contribute to performance reporting.
• Collaborate with farm team on labour planning and priorities.
• Support improvements and ensure safe, clean farm environment.
