Job summary

Codec Azure is seeking an experienced D365 CE & Power Platform Technical Consultant in Dublin. You will support, troubleshoot, and enhance Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions, coordinating upgrades and deployments while collaborating with business users and third-party vendors.

The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, lifecycle management, and Azure integrations, with a focus on delivering optimized CRM and Power Platform outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) in technical or functional roles.
• Hands-on Power Platform expertise: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse.
• Experience customizing and configuring Dynamics 365 CE.
• Understanding of Dataverse and its role in Power Platform.
• Experience with D365 modules: Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service.
• Microsoft PL-200 certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Troubleshooting plugins and Javascript, plus CI/CD for Power Platform.
• Exposure to DevOps/ALM, Azure, APIs, and PowerShell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Dynamics 365 CE modules (Sales, CS, Marketing, Field Service).
• Support and maintain Power Platform solutions: Canvas/Model-driven Apps, Flows, Reports, Dataverse, Azure integrations.
• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 CE to meet business needs.
• Coordinate system upgrades, Wave updates, and patch deployments.
• Leverage DevOps/ALM practices for solution lifecycle management.

Description

We are seeking an experienced D365 CE & Power Platform Technical Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide application support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions and the wider Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse). This role involves working closely with business users, internal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth system operations, timely resolution of incidents, and the ongoing optimization of CRM and Power Platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues related to Dynamics 365 CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service).
• Support and maintain Power Platform solutions including Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI reports, Azure integrations and Dataverse.
• Configuration and customisation of Dynamics 365 CE.
• Manage and coordinate system upgrades, Wave updates, and patch deployments, ensuring operational continuity and minimal disruption.
• Experience with solution lifecycle management (DevOps, ALM).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications or Change Requests.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) in a technical or functional role.
• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages).
• Experience with customisation and configuration within Dynamics 365 CE.
• Good understanding of Dataverse and its role in the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Experience with D365 modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, or Field Service.
• Microsoft certifications: PL-200, any other certifications are a plus.
• Experience with troubleshooting and updating plugins and javascript.
• Exposure to DevOps, ALM processes, and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL, data migration, or reporting tools a plus.
• Experience with Azure services, APIs, or PowerShell scripting a plus.
