Job summary

Workday in Ireland is seeking a Cybersecurity Data Platform Engineer to defend reliability and automate operations at scale. You will own platform health, implement IaC, and drive automation across EU Sovereign deployments from our Dublin hub.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, scripting, and governance, with a focus on data residency, isolation, and compliance across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cloud infrastructure operations or reliability engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Linux in enterprise environments and major cloud platforms.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration, configuration, and capacity planning for the cybersecurity data platform.
• Write and maintain IaC and automation scripts to eliminate manual toil.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs, monitor performance bottlenecks, and ensure high availability.
• Act as the EU Sovereign Region operator, ensuring data residency and isolation compliance.
