Job summary

nineDots.io in Ireland is seeking a Principal Consultant to own a portfolio of cybersecurity and compliance engagements, focusing on ISO 27001, SOC 2 and related standards. You’ll lead cross-functional delivery, manage client relationships and drive recurring revenue.

You’ll work between security expertise, client leadership and commercial ownership, developing long-term partnerships and guiding a technical delivery team using AI and automation to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience across cybersecurity and consulting.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2 or similar security/compliance frameworks.
• Technical credibility to work with engineers and advise CTOs.
• Experience owning client relationships and driving account growth.
• Excellent communication and the ability to simplify complex security topics.

Responsibilities

• Own senior client relationships, lead engagements and translate security work into clear outcomes for CTOs and leadership teams.
• Retain and grow accounts, identifying opportunities across ongoing compliance, audits and penetration testing.
• Lead programmes across ISO 27001, SOC 2, ISO 42001 and related requirements.
• Direct and quality-assure the work of security engineers supporting your accounts.
• Support scoping, proposals and new business to grow a profitable, recurring client base.
• Apply AI, automation and modern tooling to improve delivery of consulting and compliance.
