Job summary

Abbott Nutrition is seeking a cyber security leader to take ownership of risk governance across its manufacturing and digital assets. You will translate complex risks into actionable priorities and work with SLT to shape investment decisions.

Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality and IT to embed security into daily operations and drive improvements across the cybersecurity programme.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in cybersecurity, risk management or security governance.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory controls.
• Experience in regulated environments (manufacturing/healthcare) preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments and develop actionable mitigation plans.
• Coordinate compliance activities for standards and regulations (NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST, FDA).
• Support governance, risk and compliance initiatives and audits.
• Partner with technical teams to embed security requirements into projects.

Take ownership of cybersecurity risk and governance within Abbott Nutrition, helping a leading global healthcare organisation protect its digital assets and manufacturing operations. This is an opportunity to move beyond identifying risks and play a central role in deciding how they are prioritised, mitigated and managed across the business.

Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you'll translate complex security risks and regulatory requirements into clear actions, influence investment priorities and drive improvements across the site's cybersecurity programme. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Automation, Operations, Quality, Compliance and IT, giving you broad exposure to the business and the opportunity to shape how cybersecurity is embedded into everyday operations.

With responsibility spanning risk management, governance, compliance and security improvement, this role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with the confidence to influence stakeholders and drive change.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance and risk-based controls.
• Experience in a regulated environment; manufacturing, healthcare or life sciences experience is advantageous.
