Job summary

State Street is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to help shape next-gen cybersecurity data platforms. You will work with CyberDNA, Global Cyber Security, and Infra teams to maintain reliable, scalable platforms and automate operations.

You will support SIEM, AI-SOC, telemetry routing, and data lakehouse technologies, while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in a regulated enterprise. The role includes 24x7 on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and supporting enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, incident response, and alerting.
• Hands-on telemetry/data pipeline support at scale.
• Experience with Databricks or datalakehouse platforms for analytics.
• Cloud infrastructure skills on AWS/Azure; Linux/Unix administration.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and reliability of enterprise cybersecurity platforms.
• Maintain platform readiness through monitoring, incident management, and improvement.
• Assist cybersecurity teams across engineering and SOC operations.
• Support platforms like Splunk, Elastic, Cribl, Databricks and more.
• Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Monitor major incidents, root cause analysis, and change execution.
• Ensure data quality, telemetry routing, storage utilization, and performance.
• Maintain ITIL-aligned processes and governance standards.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, audit and regulatory controls.
• Collaborate across distributed teams; on-call rotation.
• Drive continuous improvement and robust service delivery.
