One of Ireland’s largest financial companies with over 200 locations nationwide, providing a diverse range of banking and financial services, is currently seeking a Welcome Advisor to work within a busy branch located in Limerick.

Your new role

The purpose of this role is to provide a professional, friendly, and engaging service to customers. You will be a visible and active presence in our branches, delivering a personal customer experience.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Greeting and engaging with customers on the banking hall floor, inquiring about their needs.
  2. Guiding customers to appropriate self-service options such as mobile app, internet banking, and kiosks. Directing to Teller/Customer Service if required.
  3. Handling basic queries and complaints, referring to senior staff as needed.
  4. Engaging with customers using iPads, updating customer information, and sales needs.
  5. Identifying sales opportunities and handing over to suitable staff.
  6. Cash handling, including processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements at the Teller, balancing cash at the end of the day, and managing cash levels throughout the day.
What you'll need to succeed

Essential Skills and Experience:

  1. Customer service experience with a high standard of service and awareness of its importance.
  2. Resilient and hard-working in a busy work environment.
  3. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  4. Ability to adapt to new technologies and use digital platforms to enable customer self-service.
