Job summary

Lidl Ireland is hiring a Customer Assistant to support store operations and deliver an excellent customer journey on a 30 hour contract. You will work across shifts, handling tills, stock and customer queries while upholding Lidl’s standards.

This role requires a friendly, reliable team player who can thrive in a busy environment and who is at least 18 for alcohol sales. Competitive hourly pay is offered along with benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
• Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
• Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Following freshness and rotation principles
• Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
• Assisting in the stock count process
