Overview

This position is for 24 hours per week, any 3 in 6 days including bank holidays. The rate is €13.50 per hour.

Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with customers is crucial to our success. In this role you will be delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to customers' doors, whatever the weather. You will enjoy meeting people and be willing to go above and beyond what is expected.

You will work within our coldstore that operates at a chilly -20ºC. Protective clothing designed for this temperature will be provided, with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary. You will work as part of the wider team, helping the office and picking teams as needed. We encourage movement between teams for flexibility, personal development, and knowledge of the whole business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner
• Picking orders within the coldstore
• Use our app to update customers deliveries
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
• Clean and refuel your van as and when needed
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
• Ensure customer confidentiality
• Help the office team and picking team when required
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
• Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers

Essential

• Experience within a customer service-based role
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps
• Evidence of work stability
• Basic secondary education

Desirable

• Experience of multi-drop delivery role
• Experience within a care-based role
• Warehouse experience
• Health & Safety awareness
