Job summary

Lidl Ireland is hiring a Customer Assistant on a standard 30 hour contract to help deliver an outstanding customer journey across the store. You’ll work across different shifts, assist on tills, stock shelves and keep the store clean and well presented.

The role requires a can-do attitude, reliable teamwork and strong customer service skills, with eligibility to sell alcohol (18+). Competitive salary and career development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Preferably previous experience in a customer facing role, but not essential with the right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintaining store cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Assisting on tills and answering customer queries.
• Following stock rotation and freshness principles.
• Supporting in stock counts and general store duties.
• Ensuring alcohol is sold only to customers aged 18+.
