Job summary

Lidl Ireland is hiring a Customer Assistant on a standard 30 hour contract. You will interact with customers, stock shelves and operate tills, sharing duties across morning, middle and late shifts to keep the store running smoothly.

Salary starts at €15.40 per hour with progression to €17.90 after three years, plus benefits including 20 days holiday, pension and development opportunities. Applicants must be 18+ to sell alcohol.

• Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
• Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
• Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Following freshness and rotation principles
• Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
• Assisting in the stock count process
