Job summary

Lidl in Ireland is hiring a Customer Assistant on a standard 30 hour contract. You will work across shifts including early mornings, with responsibilities ranging from assisting customers to stocking shelves and keeping areas clean.

The role requires excellent customer service, reliability and a positive attitude. Prior customer-facing experience helps, but the right attitude is key to thriving in our fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills.

• To be responsible and reliable.
• To enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment.
• A good team player.
• Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store.
• Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Following freshness and rotation principles.
• Ensuring all waste is managed correctly.
• Assisting in the stock count process.
