We are actively recruiting for a CT Radiographer for our new service in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Perform radiographic examinations within the scope of services offered by the centre.
  • Be professionally responsible for all aspects of your work.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and report discrepancies.
  • Handle specific service activities delegated by the Centre Operations Manager or Lead Clinical Specialist.
  • Observe radiation safety local rules and systems of dose reduction (ALARA, Justification, Optimization, Limitation).
  • Stay informed about legislation relating to Ionising radiation, including SI 30 & SI 256.
  • Use radiation protective devices appropriately.
  • Follow departmental policy regarding radiological examination of women of reproductive capacity.
  • Protect yourself, patients, and others from radiation exposure.
  • Ensure requests are authorized and benefit the patient.
  • Obtain patient consent and ensure understanding of examinations.
  • Assist in safe patient transfer and movement.
  • Achieve first-time quality radiographs through careful patient and equipment management.
  • Complete each examination fully and keep detailed records.
  • Stay updated on new developments in radiography.
  • Comply with departmental policies and participate in staff development and performance reviews.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in CT.
  • Diploma from the College of Radiographers or equivalent qualification.
  • CORU Registration.
