An exciting opportunity for an experienced Critical Facility Engineer to join a large-scale data centre operations team in Dublin 15. This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary role covering electrical, mechanical, HVAC and controls systems, with extensive training across multiple critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot critical electrical, mechanical, HVAC and controls systems across the data centre facilities.
- Monitor BMS/EPMS and respond promptly to alarms, faults, abnormal conditions and facility emergencies.
- Complete planned and corrective maintenance activities, work orders and documentation using CMMS/EAM systems.
- Carry out regular equipment, building and safety inspections, identifying and addressing abnormal or unsafe conditions.
- Supervise and coordinate vendors and contractors during maintenance and service activities, including LOTO/COHE procedures.
- Support troubleshooting, system upgrades, commissioning, capacity changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with the shift team and facilities management to maintain uptime, safety, compliance and operational standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, controls or another relevant technical maintenance environment.
- Experience working within a critical or continuous operational environment, such as a data centre, pharmaceutical, hospital, cleanroom, utility or similar facility.
- Working knowledge of LOTO/isolation, permit-to-work and switching procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work across multiple technical disciplines rather than within one specialist area only.
- Experience with BMS, EPMS, SCADA or CMMS/EAM systems would be advantageous.
- Full flexibility and willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern, including nights, weekends and holidays.
