Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and certified Crane Operator to join our team on a construction project based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment on site. You will be working closely with site supervisors, riggers, and other construction professionals to ensure operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile, tower, or overhead cranes (depending on site requirements)
• Safely lift, move, and position loads in line with site plans and lifting schedules
• Conduct pre-operational checks and ensure cranes are maintained in good working order
• Follow signals from slingers/banksmen and adhere to all site safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with site management and other crew members
• Complete all necessary documentation (e.g., lift plans, logbooks, inspections)
• Identify and report potential hazards or maintenance issues
• Adhere to all Irish health & safety regulations and site-specific procedures

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Crane Operator ticket (e.g., Tower Crane A04, Mobile Crane A60, etc.)
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
• Proven experience operating cranes on construction or industrial sites
• Knowledge of lifting operations, slinging, and signalling practices
• Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork
• Good communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in challenging site conditions
