Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Cost Manager for our Lenders & Investors division to independently assess and monitor project costs, safeguarding client investments and ensuring transparent reporting across the lifecycle. You will review costs relating to electrical systems, MEP packages, and specialist engineering works for data centres and energy centres.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• MRICS or similar professional accreditation preferred.
• Strong experience as a Cost Manager or Quantity Surveyor.
• Good understanding of lender/investor requirements, procurement, contracts and risk management.
• Experience in MEP and technical trade engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Carry out independent valuations and cost assessments for lenders and investors.
• Monitor expenditure, identify cost risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Prepare clear and accurate financial reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, and financial stakeholders to ensure robust cost reporting.
• Support due diligence, feasibility studies, and investment appraisals.
• Provide cost management input on technically complex projects, including data centres, energy centres, biotech, and semiconductor facilities.
