Job summary

PE Global (UK) is seeking CORU-registered Social Care Professionals for roles in North Cork, including Buttevant, Charleville, Mallow, Cork, and surrounding areas. Roles are permanent, full-time or part-time with HSE-aligned pay scales.

You will contribute to high-quality, person-centred support within dedicated teams. You’ll work with individuals who have intellectual disabilities and complex support needs, promoting rights, independence and community participation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Care or equivalent recognised qualification.
• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker or eligibility for S91 registration.
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and/or complex needs is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to person-centred and rights-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support based on individual needs and goals.
• Promote independence, life skills and community participation.
• Develop positive relationships with individuals, families and colleagues.
• Support the implementation of person-centred and positive behaviour support plans.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and support documentation.
• Promote safeguarding and the rights of the people supported.
• Participate in care planning, reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Work collaboratively to deliver safe, effective and high-quality services.
