Nixon McQuade is seeking a Corporate & Regulatory Insurance Solicitor with 1–5 years’ PQE in Ireland to join its renowned team. You will advise insurers, intermediaries and financial institutions on corporate, regulatory, and advisory matters while handling cross-border aspects.

You will work with leading Partners in Ireland, gaining exposure to high-quality, international insurance work and direct client contact, with clear opportunities to progress.

Corporate & Regulatory Insurance Solicitor – 1–5 PQE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate & Regulatory Insurance Solicitor.

The team advises a strong client base of insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries, financial institutions and investors on a broad range of corporate, regulatory, transactional and advisory matters.

The firm is noted for its international insurance network, the team is involved in a variety of complex domestic and cross-border matters including regulatory compliance, governance, restructurings, insurance transactions, outsourcing, distribution, risk management, M&A and crisis response.

The role will give you exposure to clients and the opportunity to take responsibility for your own work while continuing to develop your technical expertise.

There is also the opportunity to work on new and developing issues affecting the insurance sector, as well as getting involved in client briefings and business development.

The Person

• 1–5 years' PQE and be qualified as a solicitor in Ireland.
• Experience in insurance, financial services regulation, corporate, commercial or transactional law.
• Experience advising regulated entities would be advantageous, but a strong interest in developing a career in insurance will also be considered.
• Strong drafting, analytical and legal research skills.
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.
• A proactive approach with a genuine interest in developing their technical expertise.
