Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years within Corporate/M&A or Corporate PSL in large Irish or international firm.
• Excellent legal drafting and writing skills and experience drafting legal agreements.
• Excellent legal research and analysis skills with attention to detail.
• High degree of technical knowledge in Corporate/M&A with client-centric focus.
• Ability to identify key issues and exercise commercial as well as technical judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication/presentation skills.
• Demonstrate interest in L&D (Learning & Development).
• Pro-active with ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve best practice processes for creating, capturing, curating and disseminating knowledge for the team.
• Review, creation and updating of precedents and precedent bank in line with market practice and regulatory developments.
• Review, creation and updating of know-how and knowledge base.
• Review, creation and updating of team position papers and practice notes on corporate/commercial issues.
• Coordinate and organise the internal CPD programme and external CPD events for alumni/clients.
• Promote legal awareness via briefings to fee-earners on market developments as part of CPD programmes.
• Disseminate relevant knowledge materials and updates within the team in a timely manner.
• Generate articles, briefs, newsletters for clients or wider publication to support knowledge/BD aims.
• Provide advisory support on complex research queries to fee-earners and clients.
